How to Attach a Headboard.
How do I attach the Headboard to a Divan Bed?
It’s a popular question but surprisingly very simple.
Divan bases come with pre-drilled holes beneath the fabric (stickers indicate where the holes are)
This is where you screw in the connecting bolts supplied with the bed. *please note if you have only purchased a headboard and not a base it will not have the connecting bolts. Should you need these please speak with a member of staff.
We have a variety of headboards available online and in-store. 24” and full length 54”.
24” High Fabric headboards have strutted legs. Firstly you need to screw the legs to the headboard. This is a simple process there are pre drilled holes with stickers attached and all the screws included with your headboard. they come packaged like this for easy and safe delivery.
Then you screw the headboard bolts into the holes of the Divan base (again indicated with stickers) until secure, making sure you leave a slight gap.
Then lower the headboard over the bolts.
Adjust it to your preferred height, check its level and tighten the bolts to hold in place.
If you have a full height headboard, place it against the head end of the divan and line it up with the pre-drilled holes.
Make sure you keep the bottom of the headboard flush to the floor and the floor standing headboard is straight.
Screw in the headboard bolts into the holes and tighten.
